Coming in autumn 2024, the Apex Audit Academy will provide a breakthrough in practical audit learning and development for auditors from smaller firms. Combining open workshops (some of which are multi-day residential courses) with a growing library of on-demand video and eLearning resources, Audit Academy will turbocharge your team’s technical and interpersonal skills.
On-demand library
The library will launch in autumn 2024 with a growing range of titles and formats. Each module will be available to watch at a convenient time and will include follow-up questions to test learners’ knowledge and understanding.

Audit team workshops
Effective audit training means more than learning the theory. Auditors must learn to apply technical skills in practice, to display sound judgement and to sharpen their interpersonal skills including organisation, communication and assertiveness.
Our workshops are based on realistic audit case studies. Working in teams, participants learn how to:
complete pre-course reading and research
hold effective meetings with management and colleagues
manage their time and prioritise key issues
record audit work effectively
Throughout the workshop, participants’ work is monitored and assessed. Each team’s audit file is reviewed and returned with useful feedback, and participants are able to access follow-up support including a three-month check-up.
